Promoting social justice can be a challenging
commitment when trying to make a difference in a community. The objective was to relate gender, class and/or race
with an organization that promotes social justice. As a group, we convened an
awareness of local resources through Cottonwood Treatment Center, which focuses
on empowering individuals with viable tools and offer the opportunity for
change, using individualized, state-of-the-art therapeutic processes, to help
them return to their communities as productive, contributing members to live
happy, fulfilled lives. From there, as a group, we compiled resources,
constructed documents (see attached) and brainstormed ideas all to which
represented a collective campaign. |
